TATS LOGISTICS
For AV operations and test-fleet teams

Enclosed transport for robotaxis and autonomous test vehicles

Your units travel enclosed. Before you commit, you get the truck, driver and price in writing, and one person keeps your team posted until they're signed for at the depot.

Depot-to-depot and multi-city deployments

Opening a new city or moving a test fleet usually means several units going to different places, with a date that can't slip. Send us what's moving and where, and we'll come back with trucks and drivers lined up.

Once there's an agreement, a text is enough

With a master agreement signed, you don't redo paperwork for every move. Your ops lead texts us the units and dates, we confirm the truck, driver and price, and an email follows so you have it in writing.

Sensors, roof height and units that won't start

  1. 1Enclosed trailers keep weather and road debris off LiDAR, cameras and roof racks.
  2. 2We check trailer height against your unit before we book.
  3. 3If a unit doesn't run, tell us when you book and we'll use a carrier that can load it.
  4. 4Units with high-voltage batteries go with carriers that accept them.

Prototypes and pre-production units

Prototypes and pre-production units going to a proving ground, a design studio or a show go through the same process.

When a driver beats a truck

If a unit is road-legal and registered, a professional driver can take it straight to the next site, usually for much less than a truck. See how driveaway works.

Questions from AV and test-fleet teams

Carriers under contract with TATS. We're a licensed broker (MC 01569497), so we pick the carrier and equipment for each move, and you keep dealing with us.

Planning a deployment?
